The Alliance : a network of student from six of the most prestigious French and British Universities

The Alliance is intended for students and alumni from France, the United Kingdom, Europe and worldwide who are or have studied at the Ecole HEC Paris, the Ecole Polytechnique, the Institut d' Etudes Politiques de Paris, the London School of Economics and Political Science, Cambridge University or Oxford University.

With over 50,000 students and over 150,000 members of the Alumni network altogether, these prestigious Schools and Universities have fostered generations of political and economic leaders around the World.

Through its presence within each of these prestigious Universities, the Alliance aims to federate the legal, political, economic, scientific and business-orientated student societies and associations in order to organise a bilateral network, an innovative "think tank" on issues at the heart of Franco-British diplomatic relations such as Sustainable Development, Higher Education in Europe, Global Warming and Collective Security. At the heart of these inter-university study groups is a reflection on redefining the leadership of our two nations on the European and the world scene.

Founded and managed by students for students, the Alliance thus proposes a unique expertise on diplomacy, and is fully involved in the building of a Europe of Education and Knowledge. The synthesis of cultures and ideas within these think tanks is the first step towards the "Renaissance" of the European University, in accordance with the revision of the Lisbon agenda.

The Alliance is a unique network of European Students and Alumni that offers a number of year-round innovative events with great potential in France and in the United Kingdom.
